Traditional Pontian Hat Tapla or Tepelik or Tepeliki
Handmade Tapla Hat from velvet boards. The upper part of the hat is covered with forged metal and on the front part there are sewn gold coins that are hanging.
The name of the Tapla comes from the word "Tepe" which means top while during the tradition in many areas the Tapla Hat was worn by adult girls and ladies over 16 years old.
